藍光或 MKV 影片轉 AVCHD 的軟體 - BDtoAVCHD，可以將藍光影片（Blu‑Ray）或 MKV 檔案轉換成 AVCHD 光碟格式（BD5、BD9、BD25），或輸出為 MKV 格式。支援從藍光轉 MKV、藍光轉 AVCHD，以及 MKV 轉 AVCHD 的功能。AVCHD（Advanced Video Coding High Definition）格式能夠將 1080p 高畫質影片儲存在 DVD5（4.7 GB）或 DVD9（8.5 GB）光碟中，而保有高品質視覺效果，適合用來備份藍光光碟且節省空間。本軟體所輸出的格式適合燒錄於 DVD5/DVD9，並且能夠在大多數的藍光播放器以及 PS3 上播放。（阿榮福利味）
BDtoAVCHD is a tool to create AVCHD discs from Blu-Ray or MKV files. As output we get the folder structure ready to burn to a DVD5 or DVD9. The software compresses the video to achieve the desired overall size of 4.7 GB or 8.5 GB with the highest possible quality.
